Though there is no magpie in this livery, the magpie and plum blossom are traditional auspicious patterns in China, and this is the message conveyed by the design. It was the third nature livery unveiled by Hainan Airlines and the scheme paved the way for the 4 Chinese Noble Plants to be featured on an additional 4 aircraft later on.
