The orange mouse is the main character of the animated interludes of a well-known educational children's series on German TV called The Show with the Mouse (Die Sendung mit der Maus); an episode of the series detailed the assembly of this very aircraft back in 1999. In February 2019 the aircraft was repainted in the latest LH scheme and the mouse decals were slightly modified.
