Korean Air unveiled its first special scheme on February 22, 2001 with this "Harbi" scheme promoting tourism to Jeju Island. Harbi (하르비) is a compound word derived from 'Har' (하르), where Har refers to Dol hareubang, the large rock statues that are the symbol of the island (they are considered to be gods offering both protection and fertility), and 'Bi' (비) for rain. Also visible was Hallasan, Jeju's green volcano; the island is also known for its production of tangerines and rapeseed. This aircraft was mostly used on the Seoul(Gimpo)-Jeju route.
