China Yunnan's 6 CRJs were known as the "Little Peacock" (小孔雀) CRJs, with a small peacock mascot visible just under the cockpit windows. All 6 were delivered in unique liveries featuring Yunnan flowers, plants and landscapes. The special scheme was kept while the aircraft gained the MU livery after China Yunnan was integrated into China Eastern.
This scheme depicted the "One-tree forest" located near Daluo Town close to the China-Burma border. The central tree is a 900+ year-old banyan tree, with 34 distinct roots; it is more than 50 meters high, itself covering an area of more than 2,000 square meters.
