Pokémon (also known as Pocket Monsters in Japan) is a franchise created by Satoshi Tajiri in 1995, and owned by Nintendo. In 2004 ANA relaunched a new special scheme in anticipation of the 7th Pokémon movie (Destiny Deoxys) that was going to premier in July 2004. The base colour for this third Pokémon design was Pikachu's famous yellow. The fully painted Jumbo made its maiden flight with its new scheme on May 24, 2004. Note the two sides of the fuselage were different.
