Three Southwest aircraft were painted in a retrojet livery between 2005 and 2009. The original livery was brown and not gold though. The three aircraft wore distinctive names, including one dedicated to Southwest co-founder Herb Kelleher. While N711HK was being retired in October 2022, a brand new MAX8 was delivered to the airline in the same scheme in November 2022.
