This very colourful 737 was operated for about 3 years by Futura for Binter Canarias. Titles on the tail celebrated the award given to the Canary Island operator by ERA, the European Regions Airline Association. Each of the 7 main islands of the archipelago was displayed on the fuselage with a stylized rendering: Fuerteventura with a windsurfer, Lanzarote the brown earth and volcanoes, Gran Canaria with the Maspalomas Dunes and Tenerife with the snowcapped Teide. The aircraft was repossessed by its lessor in September 2008 when Futura went bust.
