Merauke is a city and regency (kabupaten or sub-region) in Papua Province, Indonesia. Merpati operated 3 B737 for the Merauke Government and linked the territory with other islands. All three aircraft had a specific name and livery, this one being "Kli" with a stylized eagle. It remains unclear what KLI meant or came from, but it could refer to Komunitas Lovebird Indonesia, the local name for the bird featured on the plane. "One Heart One Goal" is Menauke's official motto. The kabupaten's coat of arms was visible near the door. In or around 2007 the KLI titles became smaller.
