Central Australian

VH-TBK
1980-83

Featuring Uluru/Ayers Rock. TAA was one of the very first airlines to introduce special liveries. This aircraft promoted tourism in the "Red Centre". Four liveries were initially planned, however due to a downturn in economy in the early 1980s, only two ever took off, the other one beeing DC9 "Coral Islander".

Sunshine

VH-FCF
1980-81

In the 1970s Ansett Airlines of New South Wales operated a commuter route network out of Sydney, mainly with Fokker 27s. In late 1979 the airline launched direct service from Sydney to Maroochydore, just north of Brisbane (Queensland) on the Sunshine Coast. Maroochydore Airport is now known as Sunshine Coast Airport. This aircraft was painted in an almost all-yellow livery to promote the new services, with the marketing campaign stating "Everyday's a Sunshine day. SunshineCoast. NonStop."
