Official Airline of the IOC

HB-IOC
2001

HB-IOC was a logical choice for the aircraft to wear International Olympic Committee titles. Swissair was a partner of the private non-governmental organisation responsible for organising the modern Olympic Games. The IOC headquarters are located in Lausanne on the shore of Lake Geneva.

Servus Wien

Joint Flight by Austrian & Swissair
HB-IND
1995-97

Between January 1995 and late 1997 Swissair and Austrian intensified their partnership on the hub-to-hub route linking Vienna & Zurich. A MD-81 was specifically dedicated to the route at each airline, with a similar business-heavy seating arrangements and frequencies of 7 daily roundtrips. Servus Wien on the Swissair MD81 responded to Grüezi Zürich on the Austrian aircraft (Servus is the usual salutation used in Vienna while Grüezi is the equivalent for Zürich).
