Austrian honored the 200th birthday of famous waltz composer Johann Strauss II in 2025 with these special decals. Note the two sides are different. The design was created in partnership with the City of Vienna Tourist board annual theme "King of Waltz. Queen of Music" and features Strauss's iconic copperplate look with contemporary headphones. The airline plays the Blue Danube Waltz is played on its aircraft more than 200.000 times a year - both before take-off and after landing. It is the second design celebrating the "Waltz King" after a company A321 in 1999.

For the second time, Lufthansa added large titles to an A320 to campaign for more Europeans to vote during the European Parliament elections of Spring 2024. This time 4 aircraft from 4 different airlines of the LH Group wore the titles. Note the font used for the special titles was each time the one used by the airline for its regular branding.

Austrian added small decals to its first A320neo, which was delivered in September 2022. Identical decals were added to OE-LZO, LZP & LZR in late 2024 (LZO was still carrying "Yes to Europe titles" at that time), and to OE-LZQ in March 2025 after the that airframe returned to service following lengthy repairs.

In part in response to Brexit, DHL Air (UK) launched a subsidiary in Austria, where 18 of the airline's 23 757s were re-registered in the early 2020s. These aircraft still operate out of DHL hubs everywhere in the EU (and not specifically Austria) as before.

Starting June 2021 DHL started displaying Tusk foundation logo on the main body of a few aircraft; initially a selection of nearly 30 aircraft was expected to carry the logos, however that did not materialize. Tusk’s mission is to amplify the impact of progressive conservation initiatives across Africa and DHL offers its help and support to the organisation.
