The Adventure Borneo initiative was launched in cooperation with the tourism bureau to highlight the natural wonders of Borneo and increase traffic to the island. Kalstar was initially a travel organisation based in Kalimantan, the Indonesian part of Borneo. The airline had to stop operations in late 2017 on order of the ministry of transport. Note PK-KDC (pictured here still as G-FBEB) was declared a hull loss in late 2015 after a runway excursion in Kupang.
