Since the end of the season 16/17 SunExpress and the Eintracht Frankfurt football club are partners. A nickname still popular among supporters is SGE, taken from the club's old official name SportGemeinde Eintracht, hence the crossed Sun titles. This is the version 2A of the scheme at SunExpress Germany as seen on the top picture.
In May 2022 Eintracht titles gave way to "Europacup, in diesem Jahr!" titles meaning "Europa Cup, this year!" (2B c/s, as seen on the second image).
Then in June 2023 SGE Express titles became PokalExpress titles (Pokal is German for cup) with additional "Wir haben die Eintracht im Endspiel gesehen!" for "We saw Eintracht play in the final!" (2C c/s, see the third image). SGE Express titles reappeared in late 2023 (2B c/s).

This 2010 livery celebrates both the 20th anniversary of SunExpress and Istanbul as one of the Cultural Capitals of Europe. SunExpress invited teams of German and Turkish art students to draw their “Impressions of Istanbul” in a special “Paint Book” design implemented by Lufthansa Technik. A SunExpress official explained: “We wanted to replicate the birth story of our company and show once again that collaboration, coexistence and a true teamwork of Turkish and German cultures can really make a bold difference”.
The aircraft was transferred to the German subsidiary in April 2014, and reverted back to the Turkish register in 2020, albeit with a new registration.
