The regular tail logo of Volare was the Lion of Saint Mark, a winged lion holding a Bible, the symbol of the city of Venice and formerly of the Venetian Republic. In 1999 a first and then a second A320 gained a different tail logo, this time featuring the coat of arms of Sardinia; at that time the airline was launching its first scheduled services from Verona & Venice to Cagilari, and later also Algerho & Olbia, all three in Sardinia.
