Kung Fu Panda   功夫熊猫

by Hannah Foss - Yellow variation
B-7302
2017-19

This third design in the series was the result of a competition open to the public in the US, in cooperation with the DreamWorks studios. Hannah Foss' design was awarded the top prize based on its originality, creativity, humor, reflection of Chinese culture, and wow factor. Hannah Foss is a young designer from Alaska; her design includes popular characters like Po and Tigress, with traditional Chinese "chops" and a painted sunrise.

Note that in the end the livery was amended and simplified quite a lot and hardly ressembled the original proposal of Hannah, who was however awarded tickets and a one-week stay in China. The two sides of the fuselage were different and showed the main cast as well as old goat Soothsayer from Kung Fu Panda 2. The livery was released as part of the airline's 24th anniversary celebrations.
