This unique creation of JetBlue was based on various vehicle cutaway diagrams, a "mechanical x-ray of sorts infused with some JetBlue fun" as the airline stated during the rollout of the livery. Nearly 50 unique elements were hidden in the design, which was different on the two sides. This special livery was the airline's first on an E-Jet and was unveiled in Boston in February 2017.

A special cutaway livery was unveiled at Cargolux in September 2015 to celebrate the all-cargo airline's 45th anniversary. The scheme was created by Belgian Cartoonist Phillippe Cruyt and was different on the two sides of the fuselage; it included storks delivering babies, a shipment of llamas (one of which was spitting in the caretaker’s face), a space capsule, a helicopter, flowers, race horses, race cars, and even a giraffe in the tail.

In 1981 Detroit-Willow Run cargo operator Zantop unveiled this cutaway livery on one of its Convair 640F. The aircraft kept part of the livery while on lease to MSP-based Viking International.
