The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) is a membership association working to promote the responsible development of travel and tourism in the Asia Pacific region. Its members are tourism officials and they meet every year to evoke the industry's challenges. The 1986 edition was held in Kuala Lumpur. Note the following list of aircraft that wore the titles is very likely incomplete: DC-10 9M-MAS/V. A300 9M-MHA/C/D. B732 9M-MBA/C/E/F/J/L. Jumbos had smaller PATA titles alongside Kuala Lumpur-Los Angeles stickers (see separate entry).
