Botero  Medellin City of Botero   Medellín Ciudad de Botero VP-BVB A320-233 ACES 1999-03 Aerolíneas Centrales de Colombia (ACES) was once the proud airline of the city of Medellín, Colombia. Fernando Botero (born 1932) is a figurative artist and sculptor from Medellín. His signature was displayed on the fuselage and the aircraft was named "Medellín Ciudad de Botero" in his honour. The special decal was kept after the airline became part of the Allianza Summa alliance with Avianca & SAM. As the local airline, ACES actively contributed to the relief effort and opened a current account in the Bancafé so the public could make donations.
