Tiana's Bayou Adventure

Tiana's Bayou Adventure is a log flume attraction at both Magic Kingdom (Orlando) and Disneyland in Anaheim (California) that opened in June 2024. The tail features Princess Tiana from The Princess and the Frog. Seen above the wing is Louis the Alligator splashing among the water lilies on the bayou.

Seattle Mariners

Seattle Kraken

The Seattle Kraken are a professional ice hockey team based in Seattle. Alaska Airlines is an official sponsor of the team. This second version of the scheme shows the coordinates of the Climate Pledge Arena where the team plays at home; tail number 933 was chosen specifically as the local KJR-FM sports radio emits on 93.3 MHz.

The 8th fully painted Disney-themed aircraft at Alaska advertises Mickey’s Toontown, a themed land at Disneyland Anaheim in California. The area is best served via Santa Ana airport, which is served by Alaska. The attraction is a small-scale recreation of the Mickey Mouse universe where visitors can meet the characters and visit their homes which are constructed in a cartoonish style. The port side shows Goofy, Donald & Daisy Duck while the starboard side displays Mickey & Minnie Mouse together with Pluto. The inner winglets show the chipmunk duo Chip and Dale.

Salmon People   X̱áat Ḵwáani

Alaska Airlines unveiled this new special scheme on May 11, 2023 as a replacement scheme for the Salmon Thirty Salmon scheme. The design is the work of Alaska Native artist Crystal Kaakeeyáa Rose Demientieff Worl. X̱áat Ḵwáani means Salmon People in Alaskan Tlingit language and "refers to the spiritual link between the people who interact with the beloved salmon and all of us who benefit from their stewardship of the environment" (Alaska Airlines). Worl used Northwest Coast formline art, a feature in the indigenous art of the Northwest Coast.

San Francisco Giants

The third aircraft to carry the Giants' logo at Alaska is this MAX9, which is supposed to keep the decals until around 2025. The livery prominently features the team's mascot, Lou Seal.

The gift of travel

The 2022 holiday-inspired Alaska plane embraced the reason for the season: giving. Miles donated by customers to the Care Miles program helped charities with business travel and accommodation among others. The airline and Mileage Plan members donated 40+ million miles to charities in 2022 through this program.

West Coast Wonders

The West Coast Wonders aircraft was delivered new to Alaska Airlines on January 5, 2022. It features orcas, symbols of the Northern Pacific Ocean. The orcas migrate each year along the US Pacific Coast between the Baja peninsula and Alaska, in a somewhat similar pattern to what Alaska Airlines aircraft do.

Seattle Kraken

The Seattle Kraken are a new professional ice hockey team based in Seattle; they began playing in NHL's Pacific Division during the 2021–22 season, marking the return of a NHL team in Seattle. Alaska Airlines is an official sponsor of the team and this aircraft flew on routes to Kraken away games in cities Alaska serves.

Russell Wilson

Seattle Seahawks' quarterback Russell Wilson was once again featured on an Alaska Airlines plane during the 21/22 season. Wilson is also an Alaska Airlines spokesman, dubbed their "Chief Football Officer". Football fans who wear a Russell Wilson No. 3 jersey or a limited edition Alaska's Russell Wilson shirt could board early for all Seattle (SEA) and Everett (PAE) departing flights for the duration of the football season.

Fly with Pride

Several rainbow planes adorned the fuselage of this A320 between 2021 and 2022. The decals were unveiled on June 15, 2021 on the occasion of 4 Alaska Airlines' "Delight Flights" and celebrations of the Pride month. The aircraft flew from Seattle via Portland and San Francisco to San Diego with employees and specially invited guests. The cabin of the aircraft was also fully decorated for the event. Alaska usually operates a "Delight Flight" every month with special treats and gifts for customers.

ecoDemonstrator Program

Alaska is a partner of the Boeing ecoDemonstrator program, which saw this aircraft test flight about 20 new technologies to "enhance the safety and sustainability of air travel". This aircraft tested a new halon-free fire-extinguishing agent that significantly reduces effects on the ozone layer, an engine nacelle designed to reduce noise as well as cabin sidewalls made from recycled material, among others.

The decals depicted sunset over the Pacific Northwest mountains and were different on the two sides. The aircraft was showcased at the 2021 Dubai Airshow and flew there via London (still with its test reg N60436). Decals were removed before delivery of the plane as N979AK.

The "Our Commitment" aircraft was unveiled in April 2021 as part of a partnership between Alaska Airlines and UNCF, the United Negro College Fund, an American philanthropic organization that funds scholarships for Black students. The idea behind this initiative came following the 2020 Summer unrest with discussions between the management and a group of Alaska black employees.

The two sides show different quotes by Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. (port side) and Nelson Mandela (starboard side), emphasizing the airline's support for education as well as its corporate goals in terms of equity and inclusion. The scheme features artistic renderings of 14 students connected to Alaska’s employees, whose stories can be read here.

The 6th fully painted Disney-themed aircraft at Alaska displays the Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Jessie characters from Toy Story. It underlines the partnership between the airline and Disney, this time promoting the Pixar Pier and Paradise Gardens Park themed lands at Disney California Adventure in Anaheim. The park is based on the Victorian boardwalks that were once found along the coast of California. Note just the clouds are different on the two sides.
