Its name comes from the city of Krosno in southeastern Poland where the company was founded. Krosno Glass supplies glass for LOT Business Class and Premium Economy.

This is the updated version of the scheme which appeared in June 2023 on SP-LNF. Titles were changed to #genWarmiiiMazur in late 2025 to promote the last campaign of the region, which revolves around "the acquisition of the gene takes place through the conscious choice of Warmia and Mazury as a place for life and creative action, i.e. free creation."

The 2023 European Games were held in Krakow in June/July 2023 with all Olympic sports played there providing qualification opportunities for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. The European Games is a continental multi-sport event in the Olympic tradition and initiated by the European Olympic Committees (EOC) of the countries with the first event taking place in 2015; they are not related to the European Championships.

Energylandia is the largest theme park in Poland, located near Krakow. The Itaka Friends Club consists of animations for children run by the tour operator in many of its holiday hotels since 2021; the idea was based on a program prepared by Itaka at the amusement park Energylandia.

Chocolate-covered prunes, also known as plums in chocolate are a typical Polish delicacy (though also confectioned in Russia & Ukraine). Śliwka Nałęczowska literally means the prune from the spa town of Nałęczów. This livery was the result of a design competition by the Śliwka Nałęczowska brand. The pralines are served to passengers as a special treat in business class on LOT long-haul flights since 2015.

This livery was unveiled on two brand new aircraft at the Boeing factories. 2018 marks Poland Independence's 100th anniversary. The country regained its independence in 1918 with the Treaty of Versailles at the end of World War I. Note the English titles on the port side and the Polish titles on the starboard side. Both aircraft carry small "niepodległa" (which means "independent") titles under the cockpit windows.

This livery promoted LOT's services to Israel from Warsaw and the newly-launched nonstop links from Poland's regional airports. All titles were in Polish only, reading "Bezpośrednie loty do Tel Awiwu z Gdańska, Lublina, Poznania, Wrocławia i Warszawy" for "Direct flights to Tel Aviv from Gdansk, Lublin, Poznan, Wroclaw and Warsaw". The tail's port side showed the Tel Aviv waterfront while the starboard side depicted the Tower of David and the Old City walls in Jerusalem.
