Theses special markings were unveiled to celebrate the 550th birthday of Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikhism and the first of the ten Sikh Gurus. The tail features ੴ, Ik Onkar (which means "God is One") and is the symbol of the Sikh religion. It is found on Gurdwaras (Sikh temples) around the world.

Vistara took delivery of its first A320neo in May 2017. The port side showed the hashtag while the starboard side showed the Tata & SIA titles. The special titles were removed after Vistara's merger into Air India.

VT-EPK was painted completely in red for the World Aids (HIV) Day on December 1st, 2007. It was one of the early built A320s for Indian Airlines, specially equipped with tandem main landing gear. Note the lower part of the wings, flaps fairings and even flaps were painted in red as well.
