"Korean Air Future Artist Olympiad" is the airline's children drawing contest. The theme for the 11th edition was "Friends over the mountains, let's play together! One, two, three ~ This is a peace playground.", conveying the desire of children for a peaceful Korean peninsula and friendship with their counterparts from North Korea.
Hundred of pre-selected pupils gathered in a KE hangar in front of a 747 to design their final submission. Kang Min-jin & Kim Eun-seo won with "Flower of happiness". This aircraft was stored during 2020-2023.

D-ABYK gained gold titles as it carried the German Olympic Team with their medals back from the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro (top picture). In September 2016 part of the titles was amended (bottom picture) to support the German National Paralympic Commitee ahead of the Paralympic Games.

A special cutaway livery was unveiled at Cargolux in September 2015 to celebrate the all-cargo airline's 45th anniversary. The scheme was created by Belgian Cartoonist Phillippe Cruyt and was different on the two sides of the fuselage; it included storks delivering babies, a shipment of llamas (one of which was spitting in the caretaker’s face), a space capsule, a helicopter, flowers, race horses, race cars, and even a giraffe in the tail.
