Austrian unveiled the second retro aircraft in its history just a month after the first one reverted to standard colours. OE-LBO sports the airline's livery worn in the 80s and early 90s. It is also a nod to two route milestones for the airline: Vienna-New York celebrating its 50th anniversary and Vienna-Tokyo its 30th anniversary (note both routes had seen service interruptions in the 1970s). The two routes were flown in the 80s with the airline's first two brand new A310 at the time, OE-LAA & LAB, which were named New York & Tokyo, and sported this scheme.
