Employee Livery
D-AIEM
2026-

The two sides of the fuselage of this aircraft displays photos and memories from Lufthansa's past and share stories of LH employees over the years, as part of the "Made by many. Remembered by all” initiative. A jury selected the 20 best stories, from which all employees were then able to choose the 12 winning entries which are to be added to the plane graduelly over the year. Next to each design on the aircraft there is a QR code that leads to a landing page with all the stories.

The orange mouse is the main character of the animated interludes of a well-known educational children's series on German TV called The Show with the Mouse (Die Sendung mit der Maus); an episode of the series detailed the assembly of this very aircraft back in 1999. In February 2019 the aircraft was repainted in the latest LH scheme and the decals were slightly modified, now including a smaller blue elephant, a friend of the mouse in the show. Decals are now visible on the port side of the plane only.
