The 8th fleet milestone for the Lion Group 737 fleet was strangely the 178th; note it is not the group's 178th B738 as advertised but rather the group's 178th 737NG. The aircraft was delivered with Batik Malaysia (operated by Malindo Air) titles, but these were quickly changed to Malindo Air titles. In late 2017 titles were changed back to Batik Malaysia. In March 2020, the frame was handed over to the Indonesian Batik Air.
