The 2025 World Games are the 12th edition of the World Games, which includes sports and sporting disciplines that are not contested in the Olympic Games. Chengdu, the main base of Sichuan Airlines, will be the host city and the event will take place in August. The mascots of the games can be seen on the aircraft : Shubao, a giant panda and Jinzai, a golden snub-nosed monkey.

The 6th World Games were held in Akita (Tohoku prefecture) between August 16 and August 26. The two mascots of the event could be seen next to the titles. The World Games, first held in 1981, are an international multi-sport event, meant for sports, or disciplines or events within a sport, that are not contested in the Olympic Games (Wikipedia).
