The MTN Cape Whale Route was a project sponsored by telecom company MTN and promoting whale watching tourism along a 900km stretch of South African coast, involving 60 communities along the route. The project sponsored whale researchers and trained local fishermen as seasonal guides. The Southern Right Whale is the species featured on this plane. This aircraft was christened "Cetacea" and also highlighted the airline’s service to the community of George, a gateway for whale watching tourism.
