Marimekko is a Finnish design company based in Helsinki that has made important contributions to fashion, especially in the 1960s. "Unikko" is finnish for poppy, and is one of their most widely known design pattern. Since 2012 both firms cooperate and the iconic Marimekko patterns can be seen on tableware and textiles inside Finnair aircraft.This is a second, blue and green version of the pattern, released for the 50th anniversary of the brand's iconic poppy pattern.

Before Christmas the airline tours the Manitoba communities and distributes gift bags of candy and toys to children throughout MKO First Nations.

On the occasion of the 121st anniversary of Mao' birth, OK Air and the Xiangtan City Tourism Bureau unveiled these special titles. Mao Zedong's birthplace is located in Shaoshan, which is under the administration of Xiangtan, in Hunan province. OK Air is present in Hunan since its first flight, which landed in Changsha. Its Hunan branch was officially launched in 2014 with Changsha as a base.

TF-FIU was unveiled in December 2014 with this proud display of Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights over Icelandic mountains, a phenomenon that can only be seen when getting closer to the poles in Winter. The scheme was part of the airline's #MyStopover campaign aimed at promoting stopover tourism in Iceland for US & Canadian travellers going to Europe via the KEF hub or vice versa. The aircraft was known as Hekla before the special scheme as Icelandair aircraft are named after Icelandic volcanoes, and logically became Hekla Aurora afterwards.
Although it might seem like giant decals of mountain scenery were applied to the belly of plane, the whole aircraft was actually painted by a team of skilled airbrush artists specially hired for the occasion. Each of the airbrush artists was allocated a portion of the plane and reproduced the pattern commisioned by Icelandair. A unique LED ceiling has also been installed onboard the plane to allow mood lighting in the colors of the aurora borealis.
The aircraft was then used for different PR events including a low pass over Hallgrimskirkja church in downtown Reykjavik for the city’s annual Winter Lights Festival. Although there was always uncertainty in the schedule of a particular airframe, you could request to fly onboard Hekla Aurora on the airline's dedicated webpage.

This intra-Hokkaido route was selected by the Japan Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism in its "Rural Air Services Revitalization Program"; and benefits from state funding. Note the two sides of the fuselage were different.
