Arajet's 10th aircraft was delivered in a flag scheme emphasizing the role of the airline as the country flag carrier. This airframe is named "Las Haitises", a word of Taíno origin that means high land and which today refers to a national park (all the airline's other aircraft are also named after protected areas in the country).

The Bahamas 50

Bahamasair was incorporated the year the Bahamas took their independence from the UK: in 1973. Sometime in 2024 the "50" titles were removed but the flamingos and Bahamas titles remained.

Cayman Airways celebrated 50 years in 2018. The airline started operations on August 7, 1968 as the government of the islands bought Cayman Brac Airways from LACSA (Costa Rica) which had formed the venture and was using the island as a stop between Costa Rica and Miami. The whole fleet had the decals added.

The Cayman Islands is an autonomous British Overseas Territory in the western Caribbean Sea. Christopher Columbus sighted the Cayman Islands on May 10, 1503 and named them Las Tortugas after the numerous sea turtles seen swimming in the surrounding waters. All three aircraft of the airline had the special decals added.
