AirAsia India was a joint venture between Tata Group and the AirAsia Group. This livery was a tribute to Indian aviation pioneer J.R.D. Tata and features a De Havilland Puss Moth, the aircraft he flew on October 15, 1932, leading to the start of Tata Airlines and the start of aviation in India. AirAsia India was renamed AIX Connect in late 2022 and merged into Air India Express in 2024, keeping the special scheme minus titles and logos.
