Poppy

A large poppy replaced the Provincial tail logo of this Dash 8 during November 2016, as the airline was a partner of the Royal Canadian Legion which supports the national campaign for Remembrance Day, which commemorates the end of World War I in Commonwealth Countries every 11 November.

Perimeter Aviation is the largest carrier in Manitoba and is based in the province capital city Winnipeg. The airline is of particular significance to the province's northern communities, and it has an established partnership with Manitoba Keewatinowi Okimakanak (MKO), the non-profit organisation representing the interests of the 30 sovereign First Nations people of Manitoba. Before Christmas the airline tours the Manitoba communities and distributes gift bags of candy and toys to children throughout MKO First Nations.

Supporting the "Nanooks" of the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) on the port side and the "Seawolves" of the University of Alaska Anchorage on the starboard side. Interestingly both teams also have a Horizon Air Dash 8 in their colours since 2014.

Saarland is one of Germany's sixteen federal states, with Saarbrücken as a capital (south-western Germany near the French border). This territory has had a particular history after World War II and in 1955 the inhabitants were offered independence, but voted instead for the territory to become a state of West Germany in 1957.

Olympic was a logical sponsor of the 2004 Olympics held in Athens. The two sides of the fuselage were different and displayed Athena and Phevos -the mascots of the event- practing different sports. Two mainline 737 also wore special liveries during the period.

Air Creebec is a Canadian regional airline owned by Cree natives, based in Val d'Or (Quebec) and serving communities in Ontario and Quebec. The airline started operations in 1982 and celebrated 20 years in 2002 with these special titles (also seen on the airline's Beech 1900 C-FTOW and Beech 100 C-GIZX).

Air Canada commuter partner Air Ontario introduced short-lived Christmas liveries in the late ninetees. This first design included a reindeer head with a red nose. The name of this airframe was tweaked to City of Sarnia via North Pole for the occasion. The same aircraft would receive special decals three years in a row.

Promoting itself and the other European regional airlines part of the «era» (European Regions Airline Association). Widerøe was one of at least 3 regional airlines wearing theses titles together with Tyrolean on a Dash 8, Skyways on a Saab 340 & British Regional on an ATP.

Waikato Chiefs

In 1996 Ansett New Zealand ZK-NEZ changed name from City of Invercargill to City of Hamilton and for some time carried the colours of the Hamilton rugby team named Waikato Chiefs. The team was founded in 1996 for the inaugural Super 12 season.
