The Swiss Confederation celebrated its 700th anniversary in 1991: its origins can be traced back to the Federal Charter of 1291. Crossair held a livery design competition for Swiss children on the occasion. Giacomo Fiscalini, a 10 year-old boy from Ticino got its drawing adapted on this Saab 340. The wings were fully painted in blue and it is to be noted that the Crossair titles and the logo were also painted in a hand-drawn manner, a rare occurence. This aircraft operated for UK subsidiary Business Air for a few weeks in March 1995, gaining additional handwritten Business Air titles during that period.
