In 1994 America West organised a design competition, asking the children of its 11'000 employees to illustrate their "idea of Teamwork" on a plane. This iconic special was unveiled on October 29, 1994, celebrating the airline's corporate values. The scheme was designed by Ann Rogan, the 11 year-old daughter of America West pilot John Rogan. A commercial was recorded for marketing purposes (see here). The scheme was updated in 2000 (see separately).
