This famous logojet was unveiled on May 18, 1995 in Burbank, California, close to the Fox channel headquarters. The channel agreed to pay $1 million to have Western Pacific fly this jet in a full Simpsons livery. The scheme was designed directly by the channel's PR agency, and featured all 5 Simpsons family members: Marge, Bart, Homer, Maggie & Lisa. A nationwide marketing campaign was also broadcast on FOX in September 1995 with winners awarded free plane tickets. This logojet, sometimes nicknamed by spotters the "electric banana", also proved to be a great tool for the airline itself, raising brand awareness countrywide at the cost of Fox.
