Crossair unveiled the "McPlane" in Zurich on March 27, 1996, once again making history in the World of logojets. The initiative was jointly undertaken by Crossair and the Hotelplan tour operator which chartered the plane for services mainly to sun destinations. The famous hamburgers of the fast-food chain were served onboard the plane.
