1000 Years Austria   1000 Jahre Österreich Millennium OE-LBB A321-111 Austrian 1996-99 Featuring many famous Austrians to celebrate the country's millenium in 1996. The German name for Austria, Österreich, derives from the Old High German Ostarrîchi, which meant "eastern realm" and first appeared in the "Ostarrîchi document" of 996.
