During 2022 Iberojet operated two A330 in a "preighter" configuration on behalf of Correos, the state-owned company responsible for providing postal service in Spain. The two aircraft were supposed to be converted to full freighters however services from Madrid to Hong Kong did not prove successful enough and it never materialized.

Up For Another 75 Years

TAP celebrated its 75th anniversary on March 14, 2020, and decals were added as the airline was closing its 75th year of operations in March 2021. Decals on the port side only.

On May 18, 2019 TAP took delivery of its 7th A330neo: CS-TUI. It celebrated the 100 aircraft fleet milestone with large titles aft of the wing.

Portugal Stopover

This aircraft was one of 4 -300 series leased as a stopgap before the arrival of the 330neos at the airline. It advertised Portugal as a stopover destinations with many of the country's landmarks scattered around the two sides of the fuselage.

TAP added 4 A330-300s in the late 2010s as a stopgap before the delivery of the first A330neos. One of the aircraft involved, CS-TOV, a former SIA airframe, was unveiled in a 1955 retro scheme. The livery displayed was first used on Lockheed Super Constellations in 1955 and served through the 1970s. The retro scheme returned to the fleet with the delivery of (non-LR) A321neo CS-TJR on October 27, 2020. The aircraft both used the "Portugal" name, which was first used by TAP's very first Jumbo in 1972 (CS-TJA).

CS-TOL carried part of the Portuguese Olympic delegation to Rio de Janeiro for the 2016 Games. Titles were in Portuguese on the port side and in English on the starboard side.

Sharklet Retrofit Europe's 1st Airline

CS-TMW (MSN 1667) became the very first "old" A320 to be retrofitted with sharklets in Europe when it left the TAP Lisbon hangars in early 2016.

Sperm Whale

The first aircraft to wear the new visual identity of the renamed SATA International was this A330; a giant decal of sperm whale, a species that can be seen in the vicinty of the Azores islands, was added to the aircraft. CS-TRY was delivered in February 2016 and withdrawn from use in 2018 as new A321neos joined the fleet.

Graffiti

Evelop commissioned Spanish GraffitiCompany to decorate part of the fuselage of one of its A330s. The aircraft (while still wearing basic Iberworld livery) was moved back to Portuguese subsidiary Orbest in 2016 while retaining the special paint.

S.C. Braga football club from northern Portugal chatered these two A310 for matches abroad during October 2012. Note CS-TGV was wearing the old SATA livery while CS-TKM sported a basic version of the new scheme.

This special livery was unveiled to promote tourism to the country in parallel with the European Football Championship that was organised by the country. The aircraft was named "Eusébio" after Eusébio da Silva Ferreira, the Portugal national team's most renowned player.
